Chef John Lumbra speaks to
guests through his food and we’re sure
you’ll find it poetry to your taste buds. A
member of the Vermont Fresh Network, John
prides himself in offering only the freshest
of locally grown and raised ingredients;
some from the inn’s finely cultivated
gardens. And, all meals are lovingly
prepared daily, on the premises, from fresh
bread through decadent dessert.
John is a graduate of
Johnson & Wales culinary school in Rhode
Island where he also served on the faculty
before moving to San Diego and working as a
personal chef for many years. John is
a skilled cook who continues to hone his
skills in the fine art of cooking. Gourmet
breakfasts, rich hearty dinners, and
catering to individual desires are what he
does best.
John provides a personal
touch and attention to detail whether he’s
catering to an intimate dinner for two or a
special occasion for two hundred.
Cooking Classes Offered
Periodically John offers
full day cooking classes to small groups of
5 to 6 enthusiastic cooks or you can arrange
a private cooking class with John in his
kitchen or yours. |
